This 1928 home in Avondale had many small bedrooms on the second floor with only two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms was accessible only through another bedroom. No bedroom had its own bathroom and could therefore be called the "Master Suite". The client's goal was to create a master suite with private bath while maintaining the maximum flexibility for the other bedrooms. The scope of the project was to eliminate the inaccessible room and use the space to create a new bathroom and more closet space, creating what would be called the Master Suite.
